TIme period options are not clear

It isn't exactly clear to users that the events are being display for the this month. As well, the links for changing the time period are not as intuitive as we had thought. Perhaps instead of using the phrase "Time Period Displayed" we use "Events for 'time X' to 'time Y'"

With regards to links that change the time period, perhaps we can put a sub heading next to them to the effect of "Change Viewing Times:"

I do not get the last sentence, however, replacing the links with a more verbose drop-down list might work better.

Additionally, for pretty links we can have something like: /events/list/2005-09-23_2005-10-23
